Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan – Awareness Session

An awareness session under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA) was organised on 7th August 2026 in the Robinson Hall for High School Students. The session was conducted by Dr. Aditya Parihar, an illustrious alumnus of the school and Director of Adishankar Hospital and Parihar Polyclinic. At the outset, the Principal felicitated Dr. Parihar with a memento and sapling. The session focused on the harmful effects of substance abuse. It concluded with an interactive session, during which students actively participated and applauded Dr. Parihar for his insightful and inspiring address.

The English, Hindi and Sanskrit Elocution Competitions were conducted successfully . The Sanskrit Elocution Competition was held on 29th July 2026, followed by the English Elocution Competition on 30th July 2026, and the Hindi Elocution Competition on 31st July 2026. Students participated with great enthusiasm and confidence, showcasing their eloquence, clarity of thought, and effective public speaking skills. The winners were awarded certificates by the Principal, Mrs. L. M. Sathe, who congratulated the winners and appreciated all the participants for their commendable efforts, confidence, and impressive oratory skills.

On the occasion of Income Tax Day, an inter-school speech competition was organised by the Income Tax Department on 23rd July 2026.

Aditya Tiwari and Siddhant Goswami represented our school and eloquently shared their views on the topic, "Role of Taxation in Nation Building." They were awarded Certificates of Participation in recognition of their commendable performance.

Vikram Sarabhai science foundation (VSSF) conducted spot – 100 Gen II.

Nine students of our school were recognised for their exemplary scores in the National Spot 100 – 2025 . They were chosen as the top 100 young science talents in India. Out of the nine students Parth Aggarwal of class 10 and Ishan Abraham of class 9 attended the internship at Kochi and also got the opportunity to visit the ISRO centre, Astrophysics, HAL ,Christ University. The medals and certificates were awarded to the students by the famous ISRO scientist Shri S.Unnikrishnan and Sri S.Gopalan.

Van Mahotsav (1st–7th July)

To celebrate Van Mahotsav, our students enthusiastically participated in a tree plantation drive by planting saplings and sowing Ashwagandha seeds. They were made aware of the importance of protecting the environment and the harmful effects of pollution, climate change, deforestation, and soil erosion. The activity encouraged environmental responsibility while promoting outdoor learning and a greener, healthier future.

Earth Day Celebration 22nd April 2026.

The Christ Church Boys’ Senior Secondary School, Jabalpur (M.P), joyfully commemorated Earth Day with a thoughtfully planned and engaging programme aimed at fostering environmental awareness among students. The celebration served as a reminder of our collective responsibility to protect and preserve the planet. The programme featured an inspiring speech that highlighted the urgent need for environmental conservation, followed by an Earth Day pledge where students reaffirmed their commitment to becoming responsible stewards of nature. A vibrant poster display, creatively prepared by the students, added colour and meaning to the occasion, reflecting their ideas and concerns for a sustainable future. A special moment of the event was the presentation of a sapling to the Principal, Mrs. L. M. Sathe, by the Head Boy, Aditya Tiwari. This gesture symbolized growth, hope, and the shared duty of nurturing and protecting the environment. The programme was gracefully conducted by Mrs. Vani Jogi, whose efforts ensured the smooth and meaningful execution of the event.

One Day Capacity Building Programme on Stress Management conducted by the CBSE on the 18th April 2026.

The Christ Church Boys’ Senior Secondary School Jabalpur (M.P) organized a One Day Capacity Building Programme on Stress Management conducted by the CBSE on the 18th April 2026 from 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. A total of 60 teachers attended the training programme. The resource person for this training programme was Mrs. Varsha Chouhan, City Coordinator CBSE Jabalpur Region, Principal & Director Royal S.S. School Jabalpur. Along with her Mrs. Bharti Yadav, A Faculty of St Aloysius S.S School was also a resource person. The resource persons used real life experiences to explain the concept of Stress management which was very informative and enriching.

Installation of the Prefect Council – 2026 On 17th April 2026, the school witnessed a momentous occasion — the Installation Ceremony of the Prefect Council. Following a rigorous selection process, the ceremony proudly inducted the newly appointed student leaders into their respective roles. Held on the school premises, the event was marked by a vibrant display of the School Flag and House Flags. The highlight of the ceremony was the oath-taking, where the School Captain, House Captains, and Prefects solemnly pledged their dedication and commitment to their duties while holding their respective house flags. The ceremony reflected the spirit of leadership, responsibility, and integrity.

The GK Competition was conducted on 14th February 2026 to enhance students’ general awareness and foster a spirit of healthy competition. आज दिनांक 26 जनवरी 2026, दिन सोमवार को क्राइस्ट चर्च बालक विद्यालय के रॉबिन्सन हॉल में अंतर-विद्यालय हिंदी वाद–विवाद प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया। यह आयोजन विद्यालय के भूतपूर्व छात्र माधव पी. तारे की स्मृति में किया जाता है, जो देश की खातिर शहीद हुए थे। वाद–विवाद प्रतियोगिता का विषय था— “भारतीय शिक्षा प्रणाली आजीविका के लिए आवश्यक कौशल प्रदान करने में सक्षम नहीं है।” उक्त विषय के पक्ष एवं विपक्ष में निम्नलिखित प्रतिभागियों ने भाग लिया। आज की वाद–विवाद प्रतियोगिता के अध्यक्ष श्री अग्रिम दुबे थे, जिन्होंने मंच का संचालन बड़ी कुशलता से किया। पक्ष जश्न पचौरी अन्वेष जैन अबीर फरसोसिया आदित्य तिवारी विपक्ष आराध्या खुराना तनुजा हरियाणी वाणी झरबड़े सानवी वाघमारे उपरोक्त सभी प्रतिभागियों ने अपने विचार पूरे आत्मविश्वास के साथ निर्णायक मंडल के समक्ष प्रस्तुत किए। निर्णायक मंडल की भूमिका निम्नलिखित विषय-विशेषज्ञों द्वारा निभाई गई— श्रीमान इला घोष श्री सुनील पाहवा श्री राधा कृष्ण पांडेय प्रतियोगिता के अंतर्गत खंडन–मंडन का दौर भी हुआ, जिसमें पक्ष और विपक्ष दोनों टीमों ने एक-दूसरे से 2-2 प्रश्न पूछे। प्रतिभागियों ने सशक्त तर्कों के साथ प्रश्नों के उत्तर दिए। अंत में विपक्ष की टीम को विजेता घोषित किया गया। आदित्य तिवारी को श्रेष्ठ वक्ता एवं जश्न पचौरी को द्वितीय श्रेष्ठ वक्ता के पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया।

Awareness Programme on Air Pollution at Christ Church Boys' Senior Secondary School, Jabalpur

On 2 February 2026, taking a proactive step towards environmental responsibility, the Principal of Christ Church Boys' Senior Secondary School, Mrs. L. M. Sathe took the initiative to involve students in this awareness programme and encouraged them to become active participants in this noble cause of protecting the environment. Jabalpur has made the nation proud by securing 2nd position nationwide in the 2025 awards, achieving an impressive score of 199 out of 200, reflecting significant improvements in air quality management. In continuation of this achievement and to further strengthen public awareness, M/s Superior Services Advertising Pvt. Ltd., Jabalpur, organized an Air Pollution Awareness Seminar at Christ Church Boys' Senior Secondary School on 2 February 2026. The seminar focused on the harmful effects of air pollution and effective measures for its prevention. More than 200 students actively participated in the programme and benefitted by gaining awareness and enlightenment on environmental protection and sustainable practices. The initiative contributed meaningfully towards nurturing responsible citizens and promoting a cleaner and healthier future for Jabalpur.

Christ Church Boys' Senior Secondary School The Science, Art & Craft Exhibition and Food Fest, held on 10th January, 2026 was a grand success and a vibrant celebration of creativity and learning.

The event began with an inaugural ceremony, where the ribbon cutting was gracefully performed by the Principal, Mrs. L. M. Sathe, marking the formal opening of the exhibition. Students from Classes 6 to 12, under the guidance of their teachers, participated with great enthusiasm and dedication. In the Science Exhibition, 53 middle school students and 22 high school students presented innovative and well-explained models, reflecting scientific thinking and practical application. In the Food Festival, 25 students participated, showcasing their culinary skills, teamwork, and presentation, which became a major attraction for visitors. The Art and Craft section, with around 200 students, displayed creativity while the Rangoli competition, which saw the participation of 30 students, added colour and charm to the event. Overall, the exhibition was an enriching and memorable learning experience for all.

The Students of Classes XI&XII science attended the webinar Veer Gatha 5.0, a nation wide initiative launched by the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Education, Government of India. Two Gallantry Awardees Retd. Col. Mehar Singh Dahiya (Shaurya Chakra) Retd. Major. Rakesh Sharma (Shaurya Chakra) inspired with their real stories of courage and reminded them of the Army Motto – Naam, Namak, Nishan – that represents the three highest values a soldier protects. Naam (Name) – Honour of the nation and regiment Namak (Salt) – Loyalty to the nation they serve Nishan (Identity/Flag) – Pride in the national flag The purpose of the session was to build a spirit of nationalism, courage and patriotism. Christ Church Boys' Senior Secondary School Educational Trip (2025).

On 11th October, 2025 thirty three (33)students along with their teachers, went on an educational trip to the Grenadiers Regimental Centre (GRC), JAK and Signal Museum. The visit aimed to enhance the students’ understanding of the Indian Army and its glorious history. The JCO (tour guide) explained in detail about the various arms and ammunition, the history of different regiments, and the awards and decorations of the Indian Armed Forces. Students also witnessed an impressive Pipe Band Display and even got an opportunity to showcase their own skills. Their curiosity was addressed through an engaging interactive question-and-answer session, where they clarified their doubts and learned many interesting facts. Overall, it was an enriching and memorable experience, and the students noted down important points to deepen their knowledge and awareness about the Indian Army.

Annual Prize Distribution Day 2025

The Annual Prize Distribution of Christ Church Boys' Senior Secondary School was held on 6th September 2025 in Robinson Hall, graced by our Hon’ble Bishop and Chairman, The Rt. Rev. Ajay Umesh James, Chief Guest Brig. Ritesh Behl, Madam Jyoti Behl, dignitaries, and proud parents. The celebration began with the School Hymn and a delightful welcome dance by Nursery students, followed by captivating performances – Wings of Hope, Beyond the Battlefield, Tribal and Patriotic Dances – and the vibrant KG presentation Rhythm of Health, which drew great appreciation. ELOCUTION COMPETITION-2025

Elocution Competitions of 2025 unfolded with remarkable zeal, providing young orators a vibrant platform to express their thoughts with eloquence and confidence. The series began with the Sanskrit Elocution on 6th August for Classes VI to VIII, Hindi Elocution on 7th August for Classes VI to XII. On 8th August, the English Elocution witnessed spirited performances from Classes VI to X. The Senior Elocution on 10th September further highlighted the students’ intellectual depth and oratory skills. Christ Church Boys’ Senior Secondary School, Jabalpur, actively participated in the Poshan Abhiyan – the flagship initiative of the Government of India aimed at improving nutritional outcomes for children. The school organized a week-long awareness campaign to promote the importance of good nutrition and healthy eating habits among students and the community. Through a series of activities such as informative assemblies, poster-making competitions, and interactive sessions with health experts, students were educated about balanced diets, the value of locally available nutritious food, and the long-term benefits of a healthy lifestyle. Special emphasis was placed on combating malnutrition and anaemia, especially among school-going children. Teachers integrated nutrition-related themes into classroom discussions, and students took part in preparing healthy tiffin ideas. The school also encouraged parents to participate through virtual sessions and awareness messages, strengthening the home-school partnership in promoting wellness. ORIENTATION PROGRAM CLASS X 2025-2026.

An orientation program was conducted on the 19th of March 2025 for the students of class X. This program was organized and conducted under the guidance of our principal Mrs.L.M.Sathe. The main objective of the orientation program was to guide the students about the relevant streams and the subject combinations they could opt for in class 11. The students were advised to choose their subjects based on their interests, strengths and future career goals and to make decisions based on their own interests and abilities rather than falling prey to peer pressure. The students were also informed about a new skill- subject introduced in class 11 on “Design, Thinking and Innovation” that would help them to prepare for the future challenges and opportunities. Another important aspect which was highlighted at the orientation program was on their regular attendance in school which will benefit them both in academics and extra curricular activities. The orientation program was a great success setting a positive and encouraging tone for the students.

The art exhibition and stunning rangoli designs highlighted the aesthetic talents of the students, while the stamp and old currency collections added historical charm. National Constitution Day Celebration at Christ Church Boys' Senior Secondary School.

On 26th November, Christ Church Boys' Senior Secondary School, held a vibrant and educational celebration of National Constitution Day, honoring the adoption of the Constitution of India on November 26, 1949. The event aimed to instill a sense of patriotism and civic responsibility among students. The program commenced with the hoisting of the national flag, followed by the singing of the national anthem. Principal Mrs.L.M.Sathe addressed the students, emphasizing the importance of the Constitution as the cornerstone of our democracy and the rights and duties it bestows upon every citizen. Christ Church Boys' Senior Secondary School continues to promote awareness of our constitutional values. Annual Function 2024

The Annual prize distribution of Christ Church Boys Senior Secondary School for the year 2023-24 Was held on the 7th of September 2024 with Dr. and Dr. Mrs. Parvez Ahmed Siddique as the Chief guests. The events hosts cultural activities which are the central attraction of the occasion besides the distribution of certificates to the Rank holders for General Proficiency in their respective classes. Our School choir and the boys from Nursery to Senior School put up a fabulous show that was much applauded by the parents and guests both. The School Annual report was read by our Principal Mrs.L.M. Sathe highlighting the School Activities of the academic year 2023-2024. The Special attraction, The first of our School was the compering done by our Students and Teachers together. The Show was a resounding success receiving widespread acclaim from one and all.

MP TOURISM QUIZ 2024

It is a matter of pride that our students namely Akash Rai of Class-XI, Ansh Bhojak of Class-IX and Kashyap Mishra of Class-10 participated in the M.P State Tourism Quiz Competition held in Bhopal on the 26th of September 2024 in Minto Hall Bhopal. Out of 55 districts of M.P our school performed extremely well and secured the 6th position. In the District Level held at MLB School, Jabalpur out of 265 schools our schools stood First.

Christ Church's Got Talent - A Spectacular Showcase of Student Talent! The recent Christ Church's Got Talent auditions brought an inspiring array of talent and energy from our students. With many talented participants, the event highlighted the immense potential within our student body, revealing a diverse mix of skills. This event owes its success to the dedicated efforts of Mr. Shazad Salim, Mr. Saurabh Pandit, and Mrs. Sutapa Das, under the guidance of our Principal Mrs L .M .Sathe and Mrs. A.Kankane. The auditions showcased captivating performances in music, acting, stand-up comedy, and instrumental skill, providing a rich display of our students' artistic abilities. To honor our teachers, selected students staged a special gala performance on Teachers' Day, making the celebration both heartwarming and memorable. Adib and Aditya Satua anchored the event with poise, setting the perfect tone for the festivities. Inter-School English Debating Competition 2024

The 2nd Lt. David Devadason, Vr.C Memorial English Debating Competition took place on Thursday 15th August, 2024, at Robinson Hall, Christ Church Boys' Senior Secondary School. This long-standing tradition brought together students from Christ Church Boys' and Girls' Senior Secondary Schools to debate the topic "Over dependence on the allopathic system of medication will be detrimental for mankind." The Christ Church Girls' Senior Secondary School team, comprising Rushali Ram, Pragya Mishra, Manvi Mujumdar, and Sanvi Pyasi, presented compelling arguments in favour of the motion. Meanwhile, the Christ Church Boys' Senior Secondary School team, consisting of M. Abhishek, Jeffiel Kuriakose, Satyamedh Pandit, and Prodyumna Sen, delivered strong counterarguments against the motion. An esteemed panel of judges, comprising Col. Dr. Virinder Singh Kohli, Lt. Col. Himanashi Singh, and Advocate Narendra Chauhan, evaluated the arguments presented. After intense deliberations, the Christ Church Girls' Senior Secondary School team emerged victorious, claiming the coveted trophy. Manvi Mujumdar was adjudged the best debater, while M. Abhishek and Sanvi Pyasi shared the runner-up title. It was a seamless and engaging experience for all the participants and august audience.

Science Promotion Orient Test (Spot) – 2024

Vikram Sarabhai Science Foundation (VSSF) , conducts SPOT assessment examination, annually for school students with aptitude to determine their conceptual knowledge and understanding of science across disciplines . The exams are conducted in two phases. This year two of our students Aarav Davey and Mohammed Aamir secured position in the SPOT100 (Final)- 2024. We extend our heartiest congratulations to both of them on their remarkable success and wish them good luck for their future endeavors .
